Why do I have "blips"/crackles, also in the init patch?
[Attachement] Thanks
(I own Nexus, Avenger, DUNE 2, Syntmasters ad so on, no problems there)

I tried the init patch here and have no audio issues. I am using the latest/full version on a PC. Are you using the demo version? I don't think the demo version crackles, but just times out after a while.

It seems that you are using FL Studio as a DAW. It has a badly designed audio-architecture with lots of jitter that causes CPU spikes. As a result it can crackle when plugins process blocks of data. It affects also plugins for other companies.
I was in touch with Image Line for several times about the issue, but it was ignored by them. Since Image Line did not fix the issue for a decade I added a special workaround for FL Studio in the recent updates of the plugins. Make sure that you installed the latest updates.

"...
Fixes:
Workaround for FL Studio. It is not longer necessary to enable 'Use fixed size buffers' to avoid crackles."
-----------------------
Settings for all hosts:
Make sure that you enabled multicore/multithread support in your host. Icarus, Nemesis, Electra2, Gladiator2, RayBlaster, FireBird and UltraSpace are modern software and support multicore CPUs. They distribute CPU load on up to 4 cores per instance. This reduces the CPU load, prevents crackles and allows a lower latency setting for your soundcard.
Recommended samplerate: 96kHz
FL Studio / Fruity Loops:
Go to the processing options in FL Studio and select 'use fixed size buffers' and 'Allow threaded processing'.

Many thanks;o) - the specialist reads out what is at stake - yes, FL Studio.
I already have most of the settings.
Very interesting is that FL is not optimized for wavetable. They don't have a stock plugin with Wavetable.
I don't like wavetable synths though, because of the CPU, plus the FL specifics.
(But if I did, I wanted to try Tone2;o)
(Saurus would have been the better choice for my style of music;o)

Any chance of getting M1 native versions for Icarus, Electra and Gladiator?

icarus is the best synth for resynthesis atm, i love using instrument samples and reducing the partials to get just a few harmonics that sound very organic and ambient, then press apply morph and mess around with it more, i can get some sounds that i recognise from jon hopkin's music this way, maybe he uses this or something similar, any other tips for getting the most out of icarus?

im in contact with IL a lot lately and it seems they upgraded/have more people on tech support now, so maybe i can forward them the issue directly again as they work on FL21 heavily now, i hope it wont be only new colours and more bling bling...

As the guys from imageline continously ignored their problem I did special workarounds in the latest updates:good to know Markus, are these fixes for FL Studio for all VSTs available?

The DAW that works best from the technical side is Bitwig.
We will be able to port all our synthesizers to M1 native. The updates will be available for free in Summer/Autumn 2022.Any chance of getting M1 native versions for Icarus, Electra and Gladiator?
Electra, Nemesis, Icarus and Warlock are already M1 native:

The remix of the track was created by a friend of mine (Hans Peter Diechler). He still has no record contract. The track is not available in the public.
