Cool my ableton trial is over so really thinking about this, anyone have any input about autotune and melodyne with waveform? Do I need codemeter for autotune?

Post

I don't use Autotune but Melodyne is included. It works very well under Windows.
Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and even Deezer, whatever the hell Deezer is.

Cool thanks

Audio engine was entirely re-written. Any input on it? CPU use? Latency?

Post

Why can't I watch videos (Youtube) or hear music (Youtube Music) from any web browser while Waveform is running? It'd be useful to be able to watch these videos while Waveform is running.

I always found Waveform to need higher buffers and to get glitchy easily but so far it is smoother at lower latency for me

Looks as if they had stolen the colors from Ableton Live

Maybe you have different samplerate settings for ASIO and MME/Direct driver for the same soundcard? Then this can (or does) happen…

because of your audio interface, the one you havent given any details of.

Cool! I’ll test it when I’m done with my current project. Will it work smoothly with guitar amp sims at lower latencies (64 bit)? That’s my test for DAWs. No worries if that’s not your thing.

Downloaded the trial version.

It failed to scan my Vst3 Waves plugins.

This is a Windows issue, not a Waveform issue. This might help:
bk wrote: Mon Apr 12, 2021 2:13 am I've had this issue before, and the solution for me was to make sure the Waveform or Reaper project was set to the same sample rate as windows is.
If one is 44.1khz and the other is 48khz, I can't play audio from Youtube when the DAW is open
edit: It's also dependent on your ASIO driver. Some are exclusive, and won't allow multiple sources to access them at the same time.

Did you use the specific "Scan for VST3 plugins" option under the setup tab?

Mine scanned just fine under Windows 10.

Which were stolen from ProTools!

The Waveform "light" theme isn't the default; it's purely a user option (and one of many).
