Hello, everyone!

I'm a big fan of Arturia. I have the Collection 7 and just got a Minilab. Now I'm wondering which Minifuse to get in order to update my interface and stay with Arturia, too. I'll be recording rock pop songs, have no problem whatsoever with recording voice and then guitars or bass separately, would not be using the MIDI in and out ports, but am still wondering if the other thing that the Minifuse has over the 2 would pull me in that direction: the Mix knob for monitoring.

Does anyone have any thoughts on that? Is the monitoring mix knob on the Minifuse 2 worth the extra money?

Btw, and just in case this is important, I'll also be starting a YouTube channel and might use the interface when doing the videos but not sure yet.

Thanks for any thoughts and help making up my mind!

So a disclaimer: I am not using a an Arturia Minifuse. But I have been happily using their MicroFreak Hardware Synth and Pigments Software Synth and both are amazing. They put real effort into their stuff.

That said, I am in a similar situation and using a Steinberg Interface with 2 Inputs and a Mixing Knob. For me thats all I need, though Steinberg has some.. issues.. that im certain dont come with Arturia. So 2 Inputs should be perfectly fine.

Now the mixing knob.. I think almost every Audio Interface has it. Its really useful, cause you have virtually no latency (roughly time it takes for sound to arrive at the speakers/headset) when recording e.g. a guitar.

Besides.. I think personally the Minifuse 2 looks sleek af.

I'd say go for it (:

Thank you for the reply! I’m thinking the same thing and now am just waiting for one to become available in Amazon here in Mexico City ☺️

Thanks for the reply!
