File Modified date on these are all March 7th. I waited for them to be signed off on but if you had the last beta you're probably good.mustgroove wrote: Wed Mar 23, 2022 8:30 pm Soundtoys official Apple Silicon update is up: https://www.soundtoys.com/apple-silicon ... y-is-here/

White Elephant appears to have stealthily upgraded most of their catalog to universal binary. I was poking around there after receiving an email about a new plugin host, Syndicate.
Following is output using file command from the Terminal window and specific versions:
Carve v2.6.0
MONSTR v2.0.2
Richter v2.2.1
Syndicate Demo v0.0.2

Geez...I just don't know. Triton, Triton Extreme and Odyssey are all seen in Logic but the M1 doesn't show. It's definitively v2.2.1 and it's in the Components folder. It was installed the same time as the other three I mentioned. Software Pass recognizes it as v2..2.1. I did everything right, it just doesn't show. Additionally, the Stand-Alone won't launch (the Tritons and the Odyssey do.)teilo wrote: Wed Mar 23, 2022 12:19 pmIf M1 2.2.1 is not recognized in Logic, then you have some other issue. It's definitely native. Even if it weren't, it would still be recognized in Logic.Weasel-Boy wrote: Wed Mar 23, 2022 5:59 am Martin Hairer’s Amadeus Pro audio editor is now Native. It’s kind of an inexpensive Swiss Army knife for simple audio editing.
Also recently discovered this: although KORG’s M1 (V2.2.1) is listed as Native, it’s audio unit version is not recognized in Logic Pro 10.7.2 under Monterey 12.3. The latest native version of Plogue Bidule does not recognize the M1 au either.
As for Amadeus Pro, it is not native. It runs "smoothly" under Rosetta 2.
May I ask if you have it installed and running in Logic 10.7.3 under Monterey 12.3 on an M1 unit? I'm pretty clueless as to why it doesn't work. Of note; it does show up in Cubase 12 as a VST under Rosetta. All that tells me is that the installer did it's job.
As to Amadeus... you're right, it isn't native...but in my defense, on his splash page, he says: "The latest version (2.8.
No mention of Rosetta. I made an incorrect assumption. It's only when you open up his FAQ page (which I originally didn't) do you find: "Yes, starting from version 2.8.4. It currently runs under Rosetta 2, but performance is indistinguishable from native and this allows it to use Audio Units that have not yet been ported to Apple Silicon."
So, sorry about that.

Good news for Apple M1 users: Today we were able to compile a native M1 version of Icarus2. Unlike what Apple claims this wasn't easy at all.
We will be able to port all our synthesizers to M1 native. The updates will be available for free in Summer/Autumn 2022.

I was told in an email from Lexicon that they are going to update to M1 but that they're waiting on JUCE to be updated first, which is in beta. Not sure what that means for an ETA, it's just nice to know that it's in the works and they're not gonna die off. Months back Baby Audio said they had an M1 ETA around April and Oeksound said first quarter 2022 so I hope to see those soon. Freakshow Industries, SSL, and Sonible said it's gonna happen too but no ETA.
Any word on M1 updates for Black Rooster Audio or Expressive E?

I wouldn't hold out any hope for Expressive E. I think they outsource for one-shot abandonware. Certainly seems to be the case for Arché.PsychicVST wrote: Fri Mar 25, 2022 8:35 pm Any word on M1 updates for Black Rooster Audio or Expressive E?
