Hi,
over time I got some habits where I blend tracks over when DJing.I think, most of the time, but not allways, I skip the first 30s-60s and I start blending over after the last break.
Not allways, sometime's it's great to switcht to another drop and stuff.
However, as a lot of tracks peak in the last 30% I wonder if I take out energy when blending too soon. On the other hand, if I EQ wisely, I push it even higher with more tops.
What's your habit ?
Thanks,
Pumping
Where do you blend in/out most frequently when you DJ ?

I'd rather play the tracks fast. Too keep the energy, it's much better to switch the bass right when the final break ends. If by any chance a track has interesting outro, you can keep if playing for a while and gradulaly fde out or end with some FX.

Great, thanks for the advice. I understand what you mean, and now you mention it, I have some examples in my head that is like shifting the gear a level higher. On and on and on. I'll give it a try myself. Awesome
