For my drum sounds I am using Drumvolution from Wave Alchemy. So I have a lot of midi notes in one midi track. It is very hard to work with the different velocity settings for kick, snare, hihat etc. because the velocity window below the midi editor is very confusing. I could use an individual midi track for each sound but together with my individual audio outputs I would have more then 20 tracks just for my drums alone. Is there a way to fade out the velocity settings for some midi notes?
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Click on the keyboard note you want, this selects all notes of that pitch/drum. Then you can manipulate them as you wish.

Hold alt and click-drag on a note to adjust velocity, is that what you mean? I believe you can also select multiple notes with ctrl and then do the same for selected ones

Not exactly what I mean. When having a lot of midi notes in a drum track it gets kind of confusing having all that many velocity information on the bottom. My wish was to hide some velocity information or only show the velocity information just for one midi note.

Cakewalk can do it. One of the main reasons I still use it. Between DAW functions, CAL routines, and MIDI plugs, there's little I can't do to velocity in the program.
What sound do dreams make when they die?

Ok, didn´t know...

Use separate tracks, or highlight the notes as I told you. There is no way in Live to hide velocity info for certain notes. You can make stuff less distracting by muting it.
