Hello. I am from Greece and I try to restore vinyls. I restored some vinyls 5-6 years ago they were very noisy but now they are destroyed. The problem is that I didn't make good restoration and now I think there is no way to fix bass, treble, equalizer, dynamics etc. The vinyls are with greek artists from 70s and 80s and they haven't been released in compact disc. Some of my friends tell me there is no way to restore these
For example these I uploaded in youtube

Write directly to iZotope and ask them. They have a very good software called iZotope RX.

This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

I can't hear the bass end on my little speakers but it is possible to synthesize low end. Waves RBass comes to mind. They have other products as well. Plugin Alliance have sub bass generators.
Anyway, write to Waves and Plugin Alliance and any other company that makes restoration software.
Good tip from thecontrolcentre.

Thank you all so much!I want to try ws lowend but I can't find download link. I downloaded installation manager and I can't find this. I am grateful to you!!!!
My friends tell me that these programs are for mixing separate parts for example separate bass, treble, kick, snare etc and not for full mixes that are from vinyls.

You'll have to go to the WS website for a demo ... it's not included in the Installation Manager coz it's not a PA plugin. The details are on the page I linked to earlier.thebest20 wrote: Sat Mar 26, 2022 8:18 pm Thank you all so much!I want to try ws lowend but I can't find download link. This is a PA_EXT plugin. It will be available via the PA webshop for ONLY 48 HOURS. PA_EXT plugins are NOT part of our subscription bundles (MEGA, MIX & MASTER, etc.)

erm, yes there is. adjusting bass and treble levels is 'equalisation', aka EQ. izotope's mastering software, ozone, includes equalisation tools, as does their mixing package, neutron.thebest20 wrote: Sat Mar 26, 2022 6:55 pm I have tried some izotope products and there is no something for bass and treble. But thank you for the fast response.
even their noise reduction software includes an EQ module.

All the demos I tried to match eq from a song to another cause only problems and worsen the songs!
For example fabfilter pro q 3 causes resonances and harshness. The same when sidechain newfangled audio
Izotope match eq doesn't also improve the sound!
I use only the older dynamic spectrum mapper which I think removes harshness.

Well it'll either be that none of those tools actually work, or that you're not using them properly.thebest20 wrote: Sun Mar 27, 2022 11:54 am All the demos I tried to match eq from a song to another cause only problems and worsen the songs!

Seems like the second. i used Rx and the on board EQ to restore hundreds of LPs. Once in a while i would also use MixPack from PSP,also.whyterabbyt wrote: Sun Mar 27, 2022 12:21 pmWell it'll either be that none of those tools actually work, or that you're not using them properly.thebest20 wrote: Sun Mar 27, 2022 11:54 am All the demos I tried to match eq from a song to another cause only problems and worsen the songs!...

If there was a best matching equalizer to copy all dynamics from 1 song to another for example bass, treble etc and fixing these I would buy it. But it would be miracle, Ι think that there isn't an equalizer like the type I'm looking for.
In some songs I have ripped from vinyl bass is much and distorted and I want to low bass and in others I want to put more bass. Plugins I tried to add bass distorts bad the sound.
The other way is to search for these vinyls, buy these and rip again.
