I've found a weird bug in Music Lab's RealGuitar 5.2.3.7515 (either RealGuitar Classic or RealGuitar Steel String) when loaded into Studio One 5: the plug-in begins to produce what sounds like an odd "feedback" once a note is played. The feedback doesn't stop until a new note or chord is played, but then begins to build in intensity again until another new note is played or the plug-in is removed. This doesn't occur in any of Music Lab's other versions of .7515 guitar plug-ins and I can't replicate the behavior in any other DAW so far (I tried Bitwig 4.2 and Waveform 12.)
The answer (so far) is to roll back to the RealGuitar 5.2.2.7513 if you notice the issue.
I've reported the issue to Music Lab last night and am waiting for an answer.
I posted this as well in "Instruments" due to the fact that I could see someone's ears being damaged by the feedback if he was caught unawares. The feedback is that strong.

Bug reports always need to include what OS/version you're on, what CPU/architecture you are running, and which specific plugin format you are using.

Good point: Win10 Pro, i9 7900X CPU, either VST 2.4 or 3 (both have the issue.)jamcat wrote: Sun Mar 27, 2022 2:48 am Bug reports always need to include what OS/version you're on, what CPU/architecture you are running, and which specific plugin format you are using.
Thanks for the reminder.

Update: Music Lab released an update (RealGuitar 5.3.2.7516) that takes care of the "feedback" issue I described in my previous post. That's probably the quickest any issue I've reported has been remediated. Thanks, Konstantin!dlandis wrote: Sat Mar 26, 2022 7:20 pm I've found a weird bug in Music Lab's RealGuitar 5.2.3.7515 (either RealGuitar Classic or RealGuitar Steel String) when loaded into Studio One 5: the plug-in begins to produce what sounds like an odd "feedback" once a note is played.
