Just as a warning to everyone, it would appear that a current or legacy mail account belonging to Giancarlo at Acustica Audio has been hacked, and old emails sent from that account are being resent with an 'invoice' attachment, ie almost certainly something harbouring malware.
I received an email allegedly from Giancarlo which quoted exactly from from a license transfer I requested in 2008, including date, invoice details and customer ID of my original. Checking further it appears that a previous one was sent just over a fortnight ago.
If you get anything similar, be smart and dont open the attachment.
There doesnt appear to be an easy way to contact Acustica these days, no direct email on their site, just a ticket system I think, and as Ive not been a customer in nearly 15 years, I dont have a login on their support system, so if anyone knows how to let them know, that would be helpful.
Acustica Audio legacy email potentially hacked
