Hello everyone!

I have some "sweet" troubles deciding what laptop should I buy. Every option has its pros and cons, I would like to hear some first-hand experiences that will help me decide. Consider that I'm working in Bitwig Studio, that I'm more or less pure electronic producer (no analog recording of any kind).

The biggest drawback of Macbook Pro M1 for me seem to be the huge touchpad and very bad keyboard (I really can't get used to that "no-feeling" you get while pressing buttons. I've seen many people are annoyed of huge touchpad because of the accidental pressing. Here I find it even more problematic because I plan on using that laptop for software development too. But the biggest advance over PC laptop seem to be the CPU power (although IDK how much it is worth in Bitwig because it seems Bitwig runs only through Rosetta), and also what people say that you will rarely hear fans working, if they are working at all. I guess classic USB keyboard and whatever mouse you have can be attached to this laptop so I can circumvent those things...?

What about some PC laptop with say UAD interface (or whatever) that offloads DSP tasks? Is there any laptop with powerful CPU but quiet one? I know especially for mobile software development PC laptop would be much more suitable and if that machine can come close to Macbook Pro in the means of power and quietness of operation, I would surely go for that option.

Opinions welcome here, thanks!
