Just looking at this site I see an ad for Taip it looks like a plugin that is actually another Kontakt player rompler or effect disguised as an actual plugin for the crap banner ad.
Over to the right we have G pro another all sounds in one app that probably all sounds bad
I never used it Im just judging a book by its cover. I dont feel I need to use it either because there is already a ton of shit just like it.
Then there are the thousands of sound packs or presets for synths just in case you feel your synth does not have the sound that you have no idea what you are looking for. What are you hoping to get with preset packs? You dont even know whats in that collection of magware shit.
Then there is all the subscription buffets like Reason that give you a new synth every week. No one is going to use all of those synths they are just going to scroll through the god damn presets and then close the app after they get bored.
Why so many synths!!!!! They all start to sound like junk synth builder synths that no one will download for free.
There are so many synths that people are giving away their synths hoping you will buy god damn presets for it LOL (Vital) again what sound are you looking for? Cant you make the damn sound yourself? How do you know the sound you want is in the shity pack?
There is nothing new anymore just shity subscriptions packs
What we need is a real AI Daw that you can talk to and say something like " start recording at bar 5 beat two" I dont know.
Until there is AI its probably going to be the same shit over and over.
How many goddamn guitar amp vst's do we need? All of them? Every guitar amp ever made?

Hmmmm. Yet the last 2 native synths I bought were the Korg Native ones. Both of which are very unique with almost nothing on the market sounding like them. Very limited presets packs etc available. Not sure there are any at all for Opsix yet. Synths that are so original and capable that you feel you have to dive in and create your own weird and unique sounds. The last FX plugin I bought was a Valhalla one that similarly doesn't have much in the way of 3rd party simply because they don't need it. If you can't patch a Valhalla delay to match your tempo or tweak a reverb...there's something wrong with you.
AI DAW...nah. I don't want Alexa /Cortana or any of that shit in my home listening to me and collecting/sending private info god knows where. I don't want that stupid Sky thing where the person watching on the ad can't even decide what to watch because she's so f**king stupid. I don't talk to Google, Microsoft or Samsung in fact I deliberately avoid it where I can, so I definitely ain't going to talk to my DAW - DAWs are not above advertising also, seems like most of them have direct links on their opening page that are not invited IMO.
All in all, I pretty well 180 degrees disagree with you.

Oh yeah another thing
...competition and cheap, wide-ranging choice is a bad thing? Making music is a fraction of the price of when I started out. That's a very good thing.
Now let me think - do I want Valhalla reverb for $50 or a Lexicon box at $1000? Oh no, I'll have to buy a mixer too because I'd struggle to use a hw box on my cheapo 2-in audio box that cost a fraction of the f**king enormous 24channel desk I used to have.

Ironic that this started out being about TAIP, which is actually pretty innovative.

Just buy the plugins you want and ignore everything else... it's really that simple.

My least favorite thing about all this affordable stuff is how software devs put a gun right to your head and make you buy it
I mean it would be one thing if it were just options from which you're free to select, usually with demos to give you a good idea of how it will work in the context of your own usage & workflow, and then if you do like it you had the option to buy it but you could also just not
That wouldn't be so bad
But this! I was just walking past an amp modeler two days ago and the developer leapt out and mugged me on the spot, I went home to my wife and had to sheepishly explain, it was really traumatic
