Hmmm, does the same happen if you resave the Logic project?

Me too, and it will not save the changes when you swap a sample and save the project. I'm on Windows 10, with Reaper, the 64 bit version.Crayonking wrote: Mon Mar 07, 2022 3:26 am This version keeps asking me to reload sample after opening projects in Logic

Yes, it’s a mess. I have reload samples every project. If I change the sample and save. Upon next load, it reverts to the first saved sample. It’s a nightmare

Not only Logic, but Cubase 12 as well on an M1 under Rosetta. The only solution I’ve found to get it to work is to re-save the preset, remove Battery from the project, then reload it, reload the last saved preset and re-save the Project. This wouldn’t be so bad if I didn’t break pads out to individual tracks. Those disappear when you remove the plug-in….so I have to save individual track presets before I dump it and reload them after bringing it back. Seriously, this plug has gone braindead as far as relocating presets and samples.EvilDragon wrote: Mon Mar 07, 2022 12:19 pm Hmmm, does the same happen if you resave the Logic project?
On a number of Macs

Weird. Last week I downloaded the Battery 3 ISO thingies, for certain of its library, and some of it worked and other bits were refused. The ones it didn't like it refused the .wavs individually as well, as a format it doesn't accept.
Monday, and still today the ones I wanted all work fine. Monterey OS 12.3 here, 2nd gen M1 MBP.
So far strictly from the standalone here. I'm going to see what it does in VE Pro 7.1120.

Greetings,
Is Battery VST3 currently? Is that in the public roadmap if not?
Considering upgrading to an M1 mac but having to consider any casualties if I do...
Are there any reliable tools/wrappers that allow us to still use the NI instruments that aren't VST3?
Any info would be much appreciated and I apologize if I missed the answer somewhere else.

Thanks for confirming. That's a real bummer, Battery is my go to for electro drums.
Looks like others are having issues using it with Rosetta. I'd love to find a work around to keep using it on the M1.
Anyone have a good VST3 alternative to Battery?

It's listed as compatible with Rosetta2 on NI's answerbase: https://support.native-instruments.com/ ... ility-NewsClydesdale wrote: Sat Apr 02, 2022 1:50 pmThanks for confirming. That's a real bummer, Battery is my go to for electro drums.

Have you tried to use it with Rosetta?

I actually haven't yet bought a new mac, currently trying to assess what all plugins/vsts I might lose if I do.
I've never used Rosetta. Does it just apply to the plugins you need it to, vst2 etc?
It says you have to start your DAW using Rosetta, but will that still allow the instruments that are already natively compatible with M1 (Kontakt) to function, or is it only one or the other?
Thanks again!

Other than that, I don't use a Mac, so, I'll have to pass at this point.
I haven't upgraded to 12, but it is Silicon supported so I will if I buy a new Mac.
Appreciate your responses.
