But be aware of the fact that some values refer to remastered albums, so always pay attention to the year!
Around the world in a day is one of my fav albums and it has the highest DR 18! Very interesting.
I like Prince throughout his career, not each and every song, but I like almost everything from 1979 - 1994.
His first four albums he mixed by himself plus all the Time albums he performed and mixed!!!!, soundwise these are his best albums imo
With 1999 he became a star, with Purple Rain a superstar. He had more and more obligations and also built his own studio Paisley Park. 1999 was the album where Peggy Mac from Sunset Sound Studios was involved and the sound changed more and more, not worse, but different. With Susan Rogers at Paisley Park again a new engineer and a change, in 90 ies Prince had a dispute with Warner Bros and an art crisis, music business changed drastically more and more. In 21st century I like Prince especially as a live performer together with great musicians like John Blackwell, Candy Dulfer, Maceo Parker, Larry Graham and more or solo.
Sound quality was never Prince's most important thing, he wanted to let his creativity flow, was a workaholic and had a very fast workflow. When he had an idea, they would record his drums with one mic only at Sunset Sound Studio, when he was in the flow, things had to be done fast.
A very interesting musician and multi talent he was indeed.
Whoever wants to know more about Prince's workflow, Sunset Sound Studio has a channel on YouTube and the owner and engineer Peggy Mac tell quite a lot
Also Susan Rogers talks a lot about Prince's workflow on YouTube
