Yeah I’d like to see 64 pads and also a select/edit all pad button, in addition to the control click option.
Be happy , during early beta stage there were only 16 pads
I asked for 32 pads , and I am sure others did too

I like the overall idea of the plugin. Is there a plan to support MPE in some form?

MPE for a drum/FX sampler? Interesting 🤔

it's not the daftest idea. brush-type samples could benefit from pressure and hit location. and you could vary timbres by X/Y position on a linnstrument or seaboard for fingerdrumming type work.

i'm not sure i'd make it a must-have for a drum sampler to be sure: maybe the kind of thing to rig up in a regular sampler for a few specific drum sounds.

Speaking of Linnstrument I've got one of those too, the 200 version.
Not expecting any software to conform to that layout but I've got a thing for little square pads that make noises lol

If this had a sequencer built in it would be the bee's knees.

If this had a simple EQ and transient generator per pad, it would be more than bees knees….it would be an instant buy.

if it had a vegetable slicer, corkscrew and sauna attachment it would be an instabuy.

We'll agree to disagree about that. In fact, you can replace "drum samples" with just about anything musically (and most things non-musical for that matter) and I'd disagree. As far as drum samples/VIs, I have EZDummer and it's plenty. This does look worth a look for those needing one though.

You can see the latest version number, release date, and changes here. Just click on the CHANGE LOG below the video.
Surely there must be consensus by now...

New update today (emphasis mine):

Version 0.9.85 / 03.04.2022
New MIX overview that shows all pads in a list for fast pad switching when in edit mode.
Sample PREVIEW added. Replaces REPLACE sample feature.
CTRL & drag snaps to zero crossings in the waveform view.
Select multiple pads with the SHIFT key.
It's now possible to hide the preset browser.
Loading with relative path fixed when switching between different users or computers.

This is pretty major :)

Yes, Yes, Yes !

That said, the PREVIEW button state is ambigious, it flashes when it's in REPLACE mode and looks like it's off when it's previewing. Would be nice if the button text changed to represent the current state, or lit up with a solid bright colour when previewing so that there is no confusion.

Nice to have this with the additional mix and pan sliders. There are a few odd workflow things to deal with though.
- The sliders are horizontal but they only work with vertical mouse movements :?
- They also work with the mousewheel, but it's easy (ok... I'm careless) to accidentally change vol/pan values when scrolling up and down the pad list
- Related to the previous nitpck - You can only see 14 pads in the mixer view at a time - if 16 were visible then I wouldn't need to scroll (I never use 32 pads), and then it could just flip from 1-16 to 17-32 for those that do.

I'll drop him a line tomorrow, hopefully these aren't just bugging me :)

It would be awesome if we could use CCs (or at least CC1) as a modulation source.
