You probably already know this, but to clarify, PDC doesn't prevent delay when playing live, it prevents it at playback.
Yes, i know, but if i was playing my keybd thru an FX such as SIR along with the whole track, it would be out of sync, that what i meant.
but pdc doesn't help then either ;-)

for this case you need a tmp

Maybe, but as i dont do that, i dont :D

(i do it at home, but not thru SIR, so the timing isnt essential)

Are you f**king kidding me? It is by far the most transparent host around. Everything is right in front of you. Nobody could be so thick that they couldn't get it. Nobody.

As for PDC, I don't even know what that is so I sincerely doubt that it is necessary for anything. And if its something about delay compensation, I hardly think that anything less than about 20ms is worth bothering to compensate for. If it were, you would probably be quantising everything anyway and, again, would have no need to compensate for your small penis.

Do shut up you fat f**ker.

Just because you find it easy doesn't mean everyone will.

It really gets quite tiresome that adults like you can't grasp this simple concept. Glad you find Orion easy to use Bones, and its clear that you make quality music with it mate, but that doesn't mean that your software of choice suits everyone.

There is no need to be such a miserable c**t all the time :)

finally
I find the antithesis of the 'orion plat for 50' thread

was wondering where it was

Maybe he meant a simple thing like figuring out why O Plat records audio without the RECORD button being activated. If that's what you mean by transparent.....Hey this being a c**t thing is fun,Bones and Krim you have taught me well. :P

me - and I'm not kidding at all

I can use Cubase, Logic, Muzys, Samplitude, eXT, Tracktion and Sonar but I f**king couldn't figure out how to do the simplest sequencing tasks within Orion - the 'playlist' appears tp remain an eternal mystery to me... :? ;-)

the only sequencer that's even harder to figure out for me is FL... :-o

hell, even I can figure out Orion!
:hihi:
(it's FL I can't work with)

Yes, I can see how making a selection from a drop-down menu and entering two values into the dialog before hitting "OK" would test your intellect. Unless you were using the application incorrectly in the first place. You need to remember that it is a pattern-based tool and if you don't use the patterns, you are not using it to its potential.

But the time you might save in that operation you would already have lost getting to that point. Pattern-based sequencing is so much faster for doing most things. e.g. If you wanted to repeat the same key change 5 times in a song, you would need to set your markers 5 times whereas I would only need to change the patterns once. Swings and roundabouts. But I believe the orignal point was that he couldn't do simple things, not that they were less simple than they might be, and Edit|Transpose is about as simple as it gets.
