Toying with the idea of creating a Surface Pro sound module/fx rack for use with my standalone MPC.

It would allow me to hopefully use Falcon, some arturia, kontakt and a few other plugins. Maybe 2 instruments at a time max.

That said, I also plan to route audio in from my UA volt and through RC-20 and Valhalla delay + reverb, as well as Backmask.

So 2 vst instruments as well as a stereo line input converging in the effects portion, and then back out via My volt again, and into the MPC (standalone).

Is this a reasonable task? I’m not an experienced PC user at all.

The Surface Pro 6 is the i5 256 gig with 8 gigs of ram.

Plan to optimize the way Molten Music tech describes.

Essentially I want a touchscreen sound module, and replacements for the effects portion of the Sp404 and a poly effects Beebo.
