With 0.9.92 the crash is gone and I very much like how E opens the sample editor.
It'd be hard to overstate how much I'm enjoying this plugin. Not only is it a great plugin for chopping a loop but it's also a great plugin for the GoldBaby libraries I've bought over the years.

Surely there must be consensus by now...

I am still hoping that at some point, the plugin will communicate note names to the host. That would be fantastic!

I asked them for that, and they answered they can't do that at the moment, but are looking to do it in the future...

Same. Using it mostly with GB samples.pough wrote: Wed Apr 06, 2022 9:00 pm It'd be hard to overstate how much I'm enjoying this plugin. Not only is it a great plugin for chopping a loop but it's also a great plugin for the GoldBaby libraries I've bought over the years.
It's probably not going to happen, but it would be great if GB released his libraries with Tal Drum kits too.

He already released two libraries with TAL Sampler support so my guess is that he will support TAL Drum in the futurepierb wrote: Thu Apr 07, 2022 1:46 pm

And just like that, another update.
Version 0.9.94 / 07.04.2022
Change pad colour when multiple pads are selected fixed.
Amp AHDSR added to automation parameters.
Automation parameters grouped.
Minor fixes.
He really read my mind on the amp AHDSR automation. Can we go ahead and hand out the award for Beta King 2022?

Mixview with that "E" is really a workflowbooster. Really straightforward now. Also the volume can be set easily there.

TBH I wouldn't want one built in. Unnecessary bulk.seangm wrote: Mon Apr 04, 2022 4:14 amYeah I'd like a sequencer built in also, that would be pretty awesome. Hoping it will happen at some point.PatchAdamz wrote: Sat Apr 02, 2022 2:16 am If this had a sequencer built in it would be the bee's knees.
You load it inside a DAW. Use its sequencer.

Nothing against a well laid out sequencer. Liked to (dragndrop) export Geists MIDI pattern at the last stage of track producing into the DAW.

Even when it is out of beta there will be numerous updates. It is Patrick's way. But unless the version you are using is stable and the new features arent must have, you aren't compelled to update to every version.

I removed the demo. Can anyone confirm if it’s possible to just reference samples in another directory or do the samples and instrument files have to be in the directory as specified by TAL Drum? TAL Sampler kind of annoys me in that it doesn’t just search for the samples like Logic does if it doesn’t find them in the previously working directory. It’s kind of a dealbreaker for me as I want to share my samples between all samplers without having to manually select every single file every time I load an instrument.
