Is anyone here aware of any plugins that were running on Big Sur but still don't on Monterey? It seems like the last Monterey update rendered differences between the OSs irrelevant for plugins.
Every day takes figuring out all over again how to f#ckin’ live.

Nope. was on Big Sur. Updated to Monterey. No issues. Would need to make a list of plugins I use for that information to be usefulchagzuki wrote: Wed Mar 30, 2022 11:48 am Is anyone here aware of any plugins that were running on Big Sur but still don't on Monterey? Yes, BFD3.4 was great under Big Sur, it's a PITA under Monterey. It's not supported, technically. It works under one of its license manager versions in Nuendo or Cubase, not the standalone, not in VE Pro. Under the other, one point more recent version, it works in VE Pro and the standalone, won't in Cubendo. But the latter had to be reconnected to its auth server the very next session (as opposed to 90 days). One person is using both LMs with a similar situation but one of their hosts is Ableton Live. NB: this is on Apple silicon SoC.chagzuki wrote: Wed Mar 30, 2022 11:48 am Is anyone here aware of any plugins that were running on Big Sur but still don't on Monterey? The VE Pro GUI isn't right; most* resizing of a window will not be recalled. the resizing will hold during the session but it's going to open with default. *AFAICT all, except it does recall the size of the main window.

All our synthesizers are compatible with it. There are no problems known.

BFD3 with the latest license manager is stable here now as standalone and in VE Pro.
There's a bug in the (BFD3.4.37) installer which regresses the version number of license manager which is evidently no good under Monterey; Nuendo got past the problem except when it no longer did but no other instantiation worked at all.
So, it's unsupported, it runs in Rosetta along with VE Pro but it doesn't run worse than under Big Sur, or particularly poorly.

They’ve had a beta that works fine for a while now. I haven’t checked but it might have even gone out of beta. I haven’t had any issues with it.

No new issue introduced so far but the issues that I had since Monterey aren't solved either.
