ah, in that case i do kind of know of them but forgot about them. my missus is a fan of the band and informed me he'd started doing pedals during lockdown. but i was on modular hunts and as im not a fan of the band (don't really know them, not that i don't like them) i sort of forgot :hihi:
Well you're one up on me cuz I never even heard of them, though I like their music. I was just
after the pedal, which I was attracted to by the Force.

yeah the bits ive heard are pretty good, im just rarely in that headspace :hihi:
generally need something a bit gentler these days

you'll have to give us some sounds!
feel free over on the fuzz thread, i know it's not strictly fuzz, but it's "noisy distorty stuff" so i will of course allow it :D

Didn’t think I was going to like that, but it’s catchy!

Is the pedal anything like the Jam Rattler?

Yeah I gotta get back to that thread, just waiting for an appropriate mic stand. I had one coming from Amazon, it was sent all the way to my local post office and then sent back to California rather than being delivered for god only knows why. I had to request a replacement today.

Some very cool pedals I need to apply in that thread:

Probably, near as I can tell, the main thing is that it has a lot more gain, a really low noise floor, some filter tweaks and high quality components, vs the original Pro Co pedal.

:o wowsers! you've managed to grab some great pedals 8)
just a tiny bit jealous but mostly very happy for you :D
must sound lovely through the amp too 8)
really miss my tube sometimes...

bit weird on the mic stand return? post offices are a law unto themselves, best not to question it :hihi:

The Model:Samples arrived yesterday and the USB power adapter arrived today for mobile use.

I'm hunting a Cycles. I don't see myself needing a Digitone (but of course wouldn't mind having one).

I'm hoping to take a break from buying after a possible Cycles purchase... I'm loving what Digitakt and Samples bring to my workflow and see some fun to be had with a 4op FM sequencer.

drums aren't my thing but erica make good stuff 8)

your system is coming along very nicely!
It's starting to get very expensive now vurt mate but my plan is to have a nice double 12u TTA Mantis case setup. I'm just getting 2 or 3 modules a month, only 2 this month Iv'e done in nearly £900 today ha!

I'll get the whole Erica Drums range I want to make some experimental Ambient-ish Techno and just get lost for hours. I'm selling all my hardware synths to part fund the euro rack journey.

Was a bit of a toss-up between that and a Korg MinilogueXD but the Monopoly won out. I'll get an XD next though. I could actually get one right now, but I've got a uni paper to get going and I figure that will be a reward for me to get it done. And I need every incentive I can muster to even get started...some of these post-grad papers are utter wank. Not teaching me anything apart from how to pass uni papers - still, work are paying for it and if they're happy to throw their money away, who am I to complain?

The latest paper involves formulating a career plan and how to become an advanced practitioner. I'm 57, been up the greasy pole and slid back down happily to where I want to be with an interesting senior clinical job, performing way above my pay grade and no plans whatsoever to climb back up again.
I'm supposed to have a mentor as part of the paper...so I had to get one of my juniors who I mentored into their job to officially be my mentor. They nearly shat themselves when I asked :hihi: . Uni education is a f**king joke sometimes.

I think I'll need another Mantis this summer, already bought the brackets with my new one I got.
I know you don't like drums vurt but... my intentions are to mangle the f**k out of mine for some weird Techno stuff.

I really like the Sample Drum. Pretty easy to use. I just finished editing a bunch of recordings and formatting them for the Sample Drum and Morphagene. I can't wait to start mangling over the weekend. :-)

I'm tempted... oh so tempted.
