First third-party plugin you bought?

Hyperprism DX plugins (as in DirectX plugin, not even a VST).. this was way way way back in the day, when Waves was just a startup.

I still miss that Hyperprism reverb. It was absolutely phenomenal.. even to this day.

The user interfaces were gorgeous back then.

Oh yeah, I remember those ones, with this crazy mastering EQ that allowed you to treat separately low and high volumes. They were insanely good. The bitcrusher has a sound I’ve never been able to recreate.

Must be over a decade ago, an effect bundle from Akai, with Rotator, QuadComp etc... as boxed version on CD etc via the local music-gear dealer

Just the fact, it was a CD (and not DVD) in classic boxed package, let me feels now very... old

As for an effect plugin, Klanghelm MJUC in 2016 or 2017.
