Help Me Integrate My DAW

I use Cubase SX1 on Windows XP. When I want to use newer VSTs than my system supports, I put them on my Macbook (10.11) or my PC laptop (Windows 10) and run midi to the laptop and audio back to my XP Cubase system.
Specifically, at the moment, I am using Eventide vst effects like Blackhole, which won’t run on xp. Is there an easier way I could be doing this, with Vienna Ensemble or Blue Cat patchwork etc? Would my wildly differing systems integrate with any of these solutions? I’m also up for using VSTs on iOS if Windows XP can support it.

Perhaps you have good reasons, but I'm honestly not seeing anything else than obstacles.
My "other" PC also still has XP. I keep it off, with consuming 5x more watts power and delivering 5x less cpu power, I find it rather wasteful. If it would boot (which it did not last time I tried) I'd only run software on it written in the same era it was made.
Analogy: a couple of years ago I had to let go of my 50 years old dads bicycle I was still using daily for commuting. I had the choice of pumping in €100 worth of repairs each year coming, or just buy a way better modern bike for €150 and hardly any repairs.
Its difficult to let go of old-timers.
Enough proof I'm not trolling? Never was trolling. It's just not the answer you wanted to hear. Sorry.

Unlike some of my colleagues here, I am entirely non-judgemental about you using old gear to make music with.
Heck, I still play several guitars that were made over 50 years ago.
I think you're just going to have to try some things. You may find that your older CPU simply doesn't support some modern extensions that matter in some plugs. Of course, remember that some plugs aren't supported in XP, but will still run in it. Also, there may be older versions of plugs that have substantially the same functionality that you can roll back to.
The cheapest way to experiment with a wrapper that I know of is Element. It comes in both standalone and VST versions. Download costs $5, and there's a free version on github.

We don't actually know if Geometrid's XP system has an "older CPU." It could be a new computer with old software, for all we know. All he's said is he uses XP "for a reason." We don't know what that reason is, and probably never will, since I don't think he's coming back.

The part which makes the least sense, is that the XP system is the main system running a very old and limited version of Cubase. As long we don‘t know the reason for that, any advice doesn‘t help…
My (useless) advice could be to get back to an Atari and just send Midi to all other machines including the XP system… Or maybe switch to an Android phone… Or get an old Fostex 8-track recorder…
I doubt that any network based audio transmission is able to run on a XP system. The existing solution is the only option…

Simple solution. Run everything on one good machine. Using a second computer to run plugins is not smart and offers no benefit.
