$79 is a great price! I just found out you can right click effects and lock it, so it's like a global off setting for the effects.

Has anyone compared Obsession with real hardware OB-XA?

Tried this one now, impressed by the "analogue" like sound. Lot of fun.

But there is one thing which EXTREMELY ANNOYS ME!!11! : Where is proper panning?? Why you cannot add panning to the output, to each fx section and each OSC? Is really trivial to implement, and nerds who want the same limitation as the original do not have to use it. How are you supposed to use the nice internal fx in a proper mixed way in your arrangement without panning? This is not possible at all. Then leave out the fx completely, if it is that useless. The panning parameters do not even have to get extra gui handles, and can be simply available thru matrix or automation. Then it would be also nice if you would provide more matrix slots. Why not unlimited?? GSUS can you please stop limiting digital plugins with nonsense restrictions? Thank you.

I have an OB-Xa and the panning on obsession is the same. Internal trim pots. On the plugin it can be changed much easier than the hardware, but they function the same.

Ahh... Bitwig does not support AU... so I have to wait for the native VST version

I think you are right, it is supported since 1.1 version

Hi, what are the main differences you are seeing between your OB-Xa and Obsession? How close does Obsession get to it? I am just curious since I will 99% never be able to own one myself and haven't seen any video comparisons on it.

I want to tidy up my Obsession presets, now it has the shmik patch browser. I'm wondering can I use the same config.ini file from Dune 3 to add sound categories and artist names to the browser?
Obsession doesn't have one in the user folder, I'll give it a bash shall I?

Doesn't seem to work with Obsession, anyone know how to do it?
I've reloaded the soundbanks twice with no success.
this is the one i copied from the Dune user folder...

The config file in Obsession works the same way as it does in Dune3 afaik.
