With this discussion I will hook up my Motu to my Mint machine and see what happens. I wonder if there is a way to get Cue Mix software to work. Not a necessity but the Comps and Eq are really good and allow direct monitoring/mixing without using cpu cycles.
We jumped the fence because it was a fence not be cause the grass was greener.

My main machine is using Windows but my secondary laptop is running Axyl (Arch based distro) i've been participating in OSC with this secondary laptop and it's awesome. Linux is great these days.
