I was quite heavily involved in the sound design and testing of Augmented Strings. I can't believe it's currently FREE!!! That is a no brainer!!
Its just the Intro that is free.

By coincidence I just finished installing and picked a random preset to play with which was your 'Del Mar' Strings Pad. Very impressive stuff.

yeah yeah always getting people with free stuff and then turning on them with internet cp and switching off servers some time and bamm you sit there and cannot use the plugins anymore

As good as it may sound , you will still need to set up an additional account and I effin loathe that.
I have a plugin alliance account which I have used to demo their stuff , forgot the password and can't be bothered to jump through all the hoops , why not use the existing N.I. acount ?
Or even better ,just give the damn installers , no account ..easy as pie, everybody happy

It’s nice to hear about ‘creative flow’ etc but fundamentally this is a group of companies put together by investors. It could be good, it could be bad, but expect business models to change to obtain the required revenue (so now is a great time to make sure you aren’t reliant on a product offered by these companies).

you need the password to complete the authorisation - it's challenge/response. so just having the installers isn't going to help you in any case.

it's also a lot to ask to have all accounts merged on day one, even if that's the ultimate plan.

Well, it's PA's plugins, and they surely won't develop special versions just to use for such a freebie campaign.

Apart from that, they want you to register with them, of course.

Welp.. I am disappoint by the lack of diversity in their Artist Board.

Short-sighted and off-putting. They would have been better to omit such an effort.

NI is now part of Soundwide with plugin alliance etc! Lots of free stuff...
