1) In that case, sell it (if you have bought it).tomwalters23 wrote: Tue Apr 12, 2022 8:15 pm I don't get on with Spectrasonics Trillian - Any Advice?
2) Trilian covers a huge variety of basses.
What particular type(s) of bass instruments / models do you like?
We can then help you out with specific bass instrument recommendations here.

Would be my choice, the original MODO Bass completely replaced Trilian for me, just waiting for MODO Bass 2 to be released sometime this month.

I cannot recommend ikm at all. They are buggy, cheap and good quality though but be warned. I guess in 1-2 years there will be a new license manager loljinotsuh wrote: Tue Apr 12, 2022 11:48 pm https://www.ikmultimedia.com/news/?item_id=12546

You mean the synth basses or the electric/acoustic ones? The synth basses are just like any presets, click and play, but I always found the electric/acoustic ones to require you to make yourself more familiar with the sound, velocities and effects. But that's just like any Kontakt library in the genre. You need to put in some time learning how to play some of those sounds.tomwalters23 wrote: Tue Apr 12, 2022 8:15 pm I don't get on with Spectrasonics Trillian - Any Advice?

I do not own or use Trillian, but the answer is clear, if you don't "get on" with something for whatever reason, then the solution is simply to use something else. There are plenty of other options available.

Counseling couples is something that I will hopefully never have to do, but when it comes to plugins, the OP is not married to their Trillian, and if they're not getting along with it, then they can simply dump it if they so desire without feeling any guilt.
Couples should probably be glad that they don't visit me for any consulting sessions, because I'd probably tell most of them to split up. If a couple has to visit a counselor in the first place, then that is a tell tale sign that things are not good to begin with and they should move on. There are plenty of compatible humans on the planet.

"cheap and good quality"a bit of an odd combination, but would certainly be welcomed

"buggy, . . . . . and good quality"another odd combination, quite bewildering actually

I thought the op's question was very clear. He's asking for suggestions for "something else" and the reason he posted it in the first place.Synth Master Jedi wrote: Wed Apr 13, 2022 5:31 pm I do not own or use Trillian, but the answer is clear, if you don't "get on" with something for whatever reason, then the solution is simply to use something else.
