I saw this video of Tape Echoes and the tape sound is awesome. And I mean without any delay or reverb, just the simulation of the tape saturation.

This made me wonder how it compares to Tape and Dirty Tape.

Are all these plugins using the same simulation?

Could I just get Tape and be able to replicate what the others do?

you can't get Tape to sound anywhere near as "Dirty" as Dirty Tape

No, but like I wrote on my OP I'm interested in the tape emulation, not the delay.

If you don't care about the delay/reverb and you just want Tape Echoes' tape sound, then get Dirty Tape.

Dirty Tape is really, really nice. The only thing to know is that takes a ton of the highs out compared to other tape plugs.

I love their saturator plugin as well. Saturator plus Dirty Tape is a pretty sweet combo.
