Artbat Delay

Hi guys,

Anyone got any idea how Artbat create their delays. An example would be from their tune Horizon


It comes in on the counter melody at 2:19

They have used this type of delay in a few of their tracks and I find it difficult to emulate.

Another example can be found in their remix of Return to Oz


You can hear it clearly from 2:35.

i forget the term for it but it's kinda like pre-delay with reverb.
Some delays can be set to the typical speeds or specific times but can also skip the first delay (if that makes sense?)
That will get you in the right direction.

I'm sure someone here will mention one soon enough

Sorry I went googling and cant find it but a multi tap delay could do the same thing

Yeah, it feels like it almost out of time with the melody. Like it’s almost dragging behind. I have tried using multiple delays using different timings but it’s not as clean. Thanks for your input
