DSP-Quattro CM - good enough for mastering?

After my little experiments with mastering my latest tune, "Bongo Congo", I think I'm coming to the conclusion I need a stand-alone mastering solution for my tunes rather than relying on my sequencers.

I've been playing around with the demo for DSP-Quattro for the Mac, and I must say it is an impressive package. Even comes with EQ curves for particular types of music. Unfortunately, I have to watch my pennies since I was recently made redundant at my workplace (it's supposed to be temporary until my bosses find a new location for the store, it was a leasing problem), and currently I can't afford the asking price.

I notice that currently on my newstand there's a Computer Music issue that features a CM special edition of DSP-Quattro on its cover disc. I know it's stripped down a bit (won't do CD mastering, limited in audio formats, can only load two effects at a time), but does it have the EQ built in? And could it be useful for my purposes until I can afford the full version?
