Why does it only exist as "instrument" in logic, not MIDI FX?
I really don't feel comfy "wrapping" synths and it's a workflow killer for me.

other than that it's reaally really interesting.

I'd also prefer it to be MIDI FX (also a Logic user). Would be much more clean to introduce into my workflow.

I've always thought it would be interesting to have an effect like this.

Thank you so much for the feedback.

You can use Fluid Chords Standalone app (capable of creating automatic MIDI output port) and record the MIDI to the Logic Pro's timeline directly. It is more powerful since it lets you tweak the curves, bends, etc.

Is this M1 native?

It’s also way way more clunky.
I so have fluid pitch and it generally works fine as MIDI FX (aside the bug on M1 i reported a few months ago)

Is there a reason not to provide a MIDI FX version?

I’m sorry to say but no MIDI FX, no sale for me.

Using stand alone is a no go for me. MIDI FX keeps me in my Logic and is a quick work flow. I can't be bothered to chain things up with a stand alone app. You guys really need to reconsider this. If I have to take extra steps it is going to slow things down and make it much less desirable to use.

Just to be clear, I really think this is a great idea and it seems baffling that you would restrict it to having to run my soft synths inside or using a stand alone app. Please don't put those obstacles there for the users. I have a handful of really fantastic MIDI-FX apps that I'm using quite a bit in Logic. If I had to use them in this way, I wouldn't.

I'm looking at Fluid Pitch as well and from what Ploki above said, it can be used as a MIDI-FX...why not this one?

Many thanks

for those wanting a midiFX perhaps Infinitone might work https://infinitone.com/products

This is a really good idea and created in a very attractive GUI, so congratulations :)

However, currently with the demo (I'm aiming to buy the plugin later this month), your software does not seem to allow me to specify the location of my vst / vst3 folder for scanning my MPE-friendly synths.

I can individually scan for separate plugins, so it's not the end of the world by any means, although this is more time-consuming.

But your settings panel would be much better if it included the ability for users to specify which folders / locations they would like to be included when Fluid Chords scans for MPE-instruments.
I use a Windows 10 PC.

Is the plugin scanner/hosting licensed from DDMF? It looks a LOT like the Plugin Doctor/Meta Synth scanning.

^^ I don't think so.

Either way, currently it appears to be lacking the function for users to select their own location(s) of vst instruments for scanning potential MPE-friendly options.

When I loaded up the standalone demo version on my Windows PC, the program wanted to scan a location but it did this instantly without me knowing which location this was scanning (I've also checked in the manual and there's no info on such a location).
It then concluded that I had no suitable MPE-friendly instruments on my computer.
After that, I was free to use the scanner to look for individual instruments which I thought would be MPE-friendly (and indeed, I got the scanner to search and find my purchased Serum vsti).
But there is nothing currently in the settings menu (nor any info in the manual) about how to set the scan location for a folder(s) of your choice.

Ultimately, it's not the end of the world as I can just scan instruments which I think are MPE-friendly.
But it would be a lot quicker and easier if users were able to set the scan folder of their own choice - and this doesn't appear to be so in this current demo version.

:)

My guess is they're Mac developers/users and just don't appreciate how much of a sh*tshow VST folder locations are on Windows. The VST3 folder locations are supposed to be fixed, but some plugins allow users to change it, and there folks who will insist on doing this. I've just stopped fighting and at least with VST3, use the default path, which this found no problem. So tip: just don't fight the VST3 path and use the default.

Totally'v got your point.
That said, I think that the opportunity to scan/choose the plugin(s) you want Fluid Chords to "see" is great!
And I really mean it.
I would appreciate other devs to adopt this way of doing things which don't force you to scan every plugins residing on your system.
E.g., Soundigy's MIDI Lab works that way and I love that.
