A nord lead a1 can bring added sound value
compared to the Virus Ti2 or duplicate?
The Virus Ti2 is so complete and powerful that it is not certain that the Nord lead a1 can bring more and expand a sound palette already very well provided by the Virus Ti2.

My question is in the title and my questions.
Nord lead a1 duplicate or not with the Virus Ti2?
The Nord lead a1 can bring a more sound palette point of view, since the Virus Ti2 is hyper complete compared to the possibilities.

No, it's not a duplicate.Trancer wrote: Mon Apr 18, 2022 9:18 am My question is in the title and my questions.

A quick Google search would have answered that question for you.

I don't even understand what you're saying there.Trancer wrote: Mon Apr 18, 2022 9:18 am The Nord lead a1 can bring a more sound palette point of view
The Nord Lead A1 can bring a more sound palette point of view? What does that mean?

He obviously mean if the A1 can do sounds the Virus can't and the answer to your question is yes. Yes it can. The general sound is kind of similar but different enough to compliment each other well.

I did a search on YouTube but nothing like feedback.
The Virus Ti2 is quite comprehensive, the why of my question.
As apparently not clear enough, In view of the specifications of the Virus ti2, I wonder if the Nord lead a1 will not duplicate.
the videos on YouTube not always representative of the potential of the machines and if there is not a duplicate with for example here the Virus Ti2 and the Nord lead a1.
If the post doesn't interest you or your answers are in this style, you can go your way.
Here I am asking for opinions, the very purpose of a forum.
If that doesn't suit you, there are other posts that are certainly more interesting for you than mine.
Ah yes very important read my sentences completely.
Proof that my words are clear, pepelogu has understood everything.

Same goes the other way around then though. The Virus TI can do a lot that the A1 can't do. Actually, the Virus TI is the much more comprehensive synth. Thus I don't really understand the comparison. They don't sound the same either...pepelogu wrote: Mon Apr 18, 2022 9:49 am He obviously mean if the A1 can do sounds the Virus can't and the answer to your question is yes. Yes it can.

That is not the case. It's just that the question seems strange. Every synth sounds slightly, or signinficantly different. And, the feature set of these two synths couldn't be more different.Trancer wrote: Mon Apr 18, 2022 9:54 am If the post doesn't interest you or your answers are in this style, you can go your way.
So, yes they don't sound the same. And, yes, they don't have the same features.
If that answers your question. Which, again, could have been answered by a simple search on the internet. And some common sense.

Having owned several TI2s (my main synth/controller for about 10 years) and all the Nord Lead models, I'd say that there's a good degree of overlap at the basic level, but as others have stated, they each have a lot unique characteristics that set them apart and make them good counterparts in a studio setup. At their core, both synths do analog-style subtractive synthesis, so they obviously will both handle your basic synth needs, but where they diverge is at their individual range of additional raw waveforms, filters, effects, implementation of FM synthesis, etc etc etc.
