Wow what a gift. Thanks very much! (how strong 3xOSC only can sound)

Thanks for your generosity but I can't seem to get 3X Osc to load the patches. I haven't used it in 20 years so maybe I've forgotten something. :?

EDIT: I am able to drag and drop the patches from Windows explorer but they won't load from the menus shown above.

EDIT: 2 If I re-save the patches then they'll load from the menu.

Didn't the 3X Osc get resizing ability at some point or has my memory failed me?

Anyway there are some very nice patches in your collection like the Supersaw leads. :tu:

I'd forgotten what a capable little synth 3X Osc can be. Not something I'll add to my starting lineup these days but it's a nice synth to be included in FL Studio.

Preset skipping doesn't seem possible? Each preset has to be loaded individually?

Wtf sry my english is horrible but. You make a folder in the browser. Then you drag the presets into fl studio. Just like you drag midis into a pattern.
Dragging 1692 presets would be horribly inefficient. :?

Like I said if you re-save the patches they will load from the menu:

The two test patches will load fine but the rest in the collection will not. I'm wondering if it's a version issue where the patches need to be saved with the current version in order to load properly.

It are not 3xOsc presets, but Channel presets (which contain 3xOsc).

But it can be fixed. If you compare the Defualt preset and any other FL 3x Osc Presets Vol.1, you can see the difference in the headers:

compare.png
Defualt.fst:

00000000 46 4C 68 64 06 00 00 00 30 00 08 00 60 00 46 4C 64 FLhd 0 ` FLd

Agrobass.fst:

00000000 46 4C 68 64 06 00 00 00 20 00 03 00 60 00 46 4C 64 FLhd ` FLd

I corrected headers in a hex-editor and now it loads correctly via 3xOsc.

Not hard just inefficient. It's much easier and quicker to select presets from the drop down menu on the toolbar of an instrument. Also dragging requires the Browser to be open and I rarely ever have it open.

Ahh I see. There was no reason to save them as channel presets other than to give them custom colors. When they are dragged they don't display their names on the toolbar. Loaded as instrument presets they do.

You don't have to change the headers just load and re-save as instrument presets. Either way doing that over 1600 times is going to take awhile. :?

I felt sorry for my time. I did it in a hex editor in a couple of minutes (all 1691 presets) through a batch process. I also replaced the version with 8.0.0 - now now I can open them in my favorite FL 9 without warning.

Well that's good then. Maybe you can show the OP how to convert his channel presets to instrument presets.

I rarely if ever use 3XOsc so either way it's not something I'm going to bother with...
