The 2445 is a nice reverb. I just pivked up infiniStrip for a ggod loyalty price - its also nuce sounding tool with good features. I like PSP and have been using their products for years.

i use: Impressor, Saturator and MasterQ2 which are great.

PSP were the first third party plugins I bought back in the early 2000's. I doubt I have released a song since then that didn't have one or two of their plugins on it.

Vintage warmer is on probably everything since I bought it.

I should use the EQs / reverbs more. I use the delays and rotary quite a bit. Using infinistrip more and more.
They were even the deciding facter in buying Voltage Modular, when I wasn't sure I needed it.

They make very good plugins.

The problem is that whereas their plugins stood out a decade or so ago (and I've bought more than 10 of their plugins since around 2006), the market is now saturated with many other excellent software and developers, across a range of plug-in categories.

This is not a problem for us as consumers - indeed, there arguably hasn't been a better time to be a musician buying software - but it is an issue for a company who once were rightly seen as innovators and stood out from the pack - and now they don't.

Dark Water, you might be right, there have been long periods of no new products. Even now, they seem to be revisiting and updating and improving their older products. Not overly exciting!

getting updates for N20 and the lexicon delays and 608MD would be very exciting to me. would really be nice to use them again regularly w/updated larger/resizable guis/apple silicon native support.. it'd be like getting new plug ins. i'd pay for the updates at this point. that's how good those plug ins are imo.

Does PSP ever do spring sales?

for example: PSP Impressor and Saturator have just recently been released.

I don't consider PSP "old". Their tech still sounds first rate in todays market and they have competitive advantage especially with their new product and older product refresh. They are at least as relevant as, say, Fuse if not more-so. YMMV! :borg:

Sure, new and innovative are good things, but it's not everything. I think there's a lot more to be said for longevity in the music software market.

Not to mention InfiniStrip, which is fantastic to me anyway. They recently had a flash sale on it, picked it up for less than $99, well worth it.

If they had Arturia/Softube type gui's and bigger marketing budget, they would be more known to new customers. Don't get me wrong, I still like their stuff, a lot.

And that is another nice thing about PSP: they offer good loyalty offers. I was able to get InfiniStrip for $43 during that offer!
