What Tools Do You Employ To Enhance Your Computer ?

I recently bought Stardocks 'Curtains' utility to enhance Windows 10, to bring back rounded corners and general application looks and feel among those that supported it (About the only thing Win 11 that I like and not having a PC that supports it). This is just one utility I use whilst customising other parts such as the toolbar and start menu with transparency graphics. This compliments 'Curtains' transparent background Windows look also. Start 11, Fences, and Groupy from the Stardock Object Desktop. Also Curtains, though its functionality is entirely trivial.

Uninstall and don't install anything unnecessary. In particular don't install dozens of demos.

I've found a bluetooth soundbar with a mic/headphone rather useful. I can't say it's an absolutely necessary utility, but interestingly; somehow it's very stable, even in comparison to the soundcard and usb mic (yeti blue ice) almost a better connection.

My new laptop came with Windows 11 so I was forced to find something that makes Start as useful as it has been in Win8 and Win10. I found a Stardock thing that does a pretty good job but it's still shit compared to Win10, mostly because it remains unresizable so I have to use separate pages for different things. i.e. Music stuff on the first page, graphics stuff on the second and other shit on the third page. At least it's bearable now, though, and there is enough good stuff in Win11 to stop me from reverting it to Win10.

I don't hear the fans, so either my pc is extra quiet, or I'm deaf. Probably the latter.

I might hear them but I never notice them. It amuses me how some people seem to think that minimum fan noise is the most important aspect of buying a computer.
