30+ 'machine' types (some from machine drum, cycles FM stuff and new stuff in both digital and analogue) and a nice analogue filter and distortion in fx...a lot of power for the size. Upto 12 midi sequencing tracks as well, this has it all in 1 box for me.

I was nearly ordering one but why do the midi tracks have 4 note polyphony?

I can still see me cracking though - my Analog RYTM should be scared as the 4 analog tracks on look like a match/improvement on those on the RYTM

Well, this thing has about the best hardware sequencer available and just about every synth sound engine I can think of for drums (real analogue, VA, FM, PM and some weird ones!) and great fx (analogue distortion and filter etc) so it should be capable of good tracks!

No samples. It would be a replacement for Cycles though.

Otherwise I think this is a great compliment to Digitakt.

I imagine Digitakt MkII is up next and will likely expand on the number of available samples in a project along with number tracks.

I’m struggling not ordering right now. It’s basically all I want from a Drum Machine. I already have both Digitakt and Model Samples I’ve fallen in love with the work flow. It’s just crazy fast. I can’t think of many reasons not to order it except for the price tag and the look I’ll get from the missus accompanied by “really, another one?”

That’s tough because there some duplication. Maybe it’s a good thing since you the old gear pays for the new stuff.
