£1200 in the UK, if it was April 1st I would laugh!

I just see no advantage in being this small (comes with tweezers?) and having a built in very basic synth/drum in a mixer!

I just don't get who their market is. That's a ridiculous price. You can get a plethora of small, portable 6 channel mixers at a fraction of the price from established mixer companies which are big enough to actually use but small enough to be portable and compact. Are these things aimed at elves or leprechauns?
They surely can't be aimed at kids at that price. Can connect to a DAW...if you're using a DAW you aren't so concerned about space that you need microscopic gear.

Maybe if you collect all the tiny pieces from TE, connect them all up into this tiny mixer you can get famous with a modern version of Bentine's musical flea circus?

This product is so ridiculous even hipsters won’t buy it, it not cool, clever or practical…reminds me of an old 80s Diskman or something…that big knob on the bottom is just fugly as well!

This is teenage engineering , known for their easthetics and hipster factor , you pay the bulk of the money for the design .
I could understand the ridiculous asking price if the mixer would have a top notch audio path , but like I said again ..this is T.E.

, it's not a specialised audio company ..people should realise that
I made the mistake once buying an op 1 ( when they were stll going for 700 ) wrongly assumming the dsp algo's were top notch , they weren't ..returned to the shop after a 3 week try out .

It's funny because I'm sure their Pocket Operators along with Volcas and other small synths have driven a demand for a powered 3.5mm mixer. I don't think this is what anyone wanted considering there are significantly cheaper options below $100 and of course the 1010 BlueBox at more than half the cost of this.

Yes they add extra features, but those tiny knobs. No. Too many are too close together.

I love my OP-Z and my Pocket Operators but as fun, as some of the other stuff looks, I could never justify their pricing.

This is what happens when you fetishise Dieter Rams' industrial design work for Braun but you're so laser focused on its aesthetics that you forget what industrial design is actually for. Like some mad inversion of "form follows function" where the product only exists to justify the interface.
