I hope it's a relevant thread.
Does anybody know (or think) if Blue 3 can be added to already released Explorer-7 ?
Perhaps Rob Papen knows and someone knows Rob Papen

I will try to give an example: connecting together Vecto and Predator3 - it will be part of the opportunity in the new Blue3)))Echoes in the Attic wrote: Fri Apr 22, 2022 1:34 pm Hopefully mpe and granular like Vecto (which is really a cut down blue to fit reason racks).
Granular mode for samples will be too!
Sorry, i do not remember some details, i asked a lot of Rob on his Youtube streams.

Yeah they have a tendency to incorporate many things from other synths into their big brothers. And Blue seems like the King of them all.

That's why a lot of their synths sound samey. In a blind test, I don't think I could tell Vecto from Quad from Go2 from Predator...

Oh I definitely couldn't. There's a lot of overlap, which is why I'm really only interested in Blue as it does most of what the others do (that I care about). Also, I had Blue V1 long ago and did like it, but moved on for some reason (may have been compatibility at the time on mac or something). But I have fond memories of it.hurricaneaudiolab wrote: Fri Apr 22, 2022 5:41 pm That's why a lot of their synths sound samey. Sorry, i disagree with you. Each synthesizer has its own capabilities for the formation of sound, they only seem the same. Vecto is similar to the Blue2, only the capabilities of the FM synthesis similar on Blue2 i have not met in other synths.hurricaneaudiolab wrote: Fri Apr 22, 2022 5:41 pm That's why a lot of their synths sound samey. And that i am very pleased: according to my requests of Jon and Rob, the only developers who made all their synthesizers are very comfortable for blind people.

Rob Papen confirmed with me that he hopes to gave Blue III out by the end of this year.
