Hello,
The link to the Bass:
http://sndup.net/k36b
I don't particularly like the tone of this bass, but it does something which would be helpful for other basses that i create.
it's the movement of the brightness, i guess it's a filter used to create the movement.
at the beginning it's bright, then gets brighter, then slowly becomes darker.
But when i try an recreate it, i can't get the same movement.
I can't get the filter to move in the same way creating a similar result.
to my ears, how the sound becomes brighter then gradually gets darker, it sounds very precise an controlled.
i tried messing with some LFO's shapes on a filter but i can't figure it out.
maybe i'm overthinking it haha
Thanks
What is happening with this Synth Bass?

Try this preset in Vital
BUT then AFTER the preset add an EQ or low-pass filter and with automation matching the cut-off to what you hear in the original.

Doesn't sounds like complex patch, could be caused by the curve of,but it's simple opening the filter to higher frequencies then going back to lower, use Lfo or ADSR control 2 achieve it,doesn't seems like MSEG ,Step lfo or other complex shaping.
Cheers
