May I ask what version of it you're using? :)

We currently have v.1.1.11 available on our website. Feel free to check that out if you're on an older version.
The most current version, the version in my account is 1.1.8.
I'm using this version. Though it's an issue from day one.
Your authorisation system is authorising my wifi modem or something, not my machine.
I don't use VPNs or anything like that. I've been through this ALL before.
The plugin de-authorises every day pretty much. I just can't use it anymore, it's so frustrating. I've deleted everything and started again, logged out/in/out/in/out...

2 separate laptops, same behaviour, so it's not a machine thing

v1o wrote: Fri Apr 22, 2022 5:16 pm I think fake reviews are when the reviewer was paid to write a review. Or when the company has written its own reviews. Product beta testers writing honest reviews isn't really an issue imho.
Not a problem but I think they should disclose that they were beta testers.
We just did, I guess. (:

But besides that, there are our users and fans as well. We believe many other users, are expected to write more reviews about our new plug-in as they continue to use it more. As a new boutique company, we make very close relationships with our users, and there are many Techivation fans who would not only like to support our work but to let others know of the solutions our products offer.

Thanks for the clarification. If you ever face any issues, you can quickly shoot us an email or text us on WhatsApp, and we always do our best to respond within less than 30 minutes. But I'd be happy to guide you to fix this here.

Please just try installing our latest version, which includes significant improvements to the authentication system. The issue you mentioned has happened for some users on Mojave but we helped them to have it resolved.

I believe this new version we have on the website, will have it fixed for you. To clarify, the only time you need to be online is the first time you want to try to activate the plug-in. But after it's activated, you can continue to use it while being offline as well.

We are working on making the offline authentication possible in the upcoming updates, but we're just making sure it will be safe for both users and us to protect our products against piracy. :)

Please feel free to email me at info@techivation.com

The latest version is installed. I even just now re-installed it.
This is what i get...

One machine is 2012 Macbook Pro on Mojave
the other is 2021 Macbook Pro on Monterey

I'm pretty sure it's not a machine issue, rather an authorisation system issue.
This is why i flipped out the first time, weeks and weeks and weeks, trying to authorise my purchased license.

I'd need to know your email address to check on our system. This is not a common issue, but might be something related to your account.

Could you please contact me via email and provide me with your Techivation account email address?

Nice compression tool! One serious workflow issue is for me is the lack of global bypass! My suggestion would be to put a bypass control under each compressor number so each can be bypassed independently no matter which compressor is selected, and, the existing bypass is a global bypass. That would make this so much easier to use!

Post

Thank you! Well, each can already be bypassed independently, if you have them selected, and for the global, you can use your DAW's plug-in window bypass button. :)

True, which is what I have been doing and its annoying. Ok well if you wont enhance workflow with something as ubiquitous as bypass, I will, pun intended, have to pass on this. good luck.

Okay, we'll definitely continue making improvements to it for sure.

plexuss wrote: Fri Apr 22, 2022 2:11 pm What constitutes a "fake review" is a matter of opinion.
One made by an admitted "supporter" of the company.
plexuss wrote: Fri Apr 22, 2022 2:11 pmCompanies posting reviews from beta-testers is ubiquitous and rarely nefarious. This why we have a brain: so we can discern. This is also why we have demos: to try the product yourself before you buy.
I never read reviews I just happened to read what simmo75 wrote, did a little research and found this from one of the reviewers. The other one is pretty much the same although he did visit the next day. No posts yet though:

So he joined, spent four minutes to write a positive review and never came back. Should anyone have faith in such a review? No and that's why he have a brain so we can spot obvious plants.

Anyway like I said if a new member needs a minimum post count to access the Marketplace then it's probably a good idea to have the same requirement to be able to write reviews in order to at least discourage the behavior shown with this particular plugin.

Who cares. Do you think you or anyone can police the internet? I'll leave this one with you to fight. I just try the demoes and make my own opinions, rarely do I make plugin purchase decisions from reviews. But if you do, you might consider trying the demo and/or following more official reviews on sites and blogs. Good luck with it. Unless you are just complaining and whining, again... which is more likely.
