Also wow - they have finally gotten rid of that awful awful scrolling in their legacy collection installers. Amazing!

Their Odyssey sounds quite stellar in fact.

Took 6 weeks but they delivered!! Man the Triton in native is my go to synth now. It was chewing up CPU before, so I had to bounce once I got what I wanted.stash98 wrote: Fri Mar 11, 2022 5:43 pmAtlatnesiti wrote: Fri Mar 11, 2022 1:54 amGood news indeed, if true…stash98 wrote: Thu Mar 10, 2022 7:30 pm This may have been mentioned but Korg support told me yesterday a native M1 version of the Triton is coming "soon". So that will be good news.![]()
Well I have the email from Korg so I have it in writing.I will hold them to it. This is an expensive plugin. But since some of their other plugs show up for me as VSTs already, I have faith they will deliver on this one as well.

No separate update for Odyssey yet, so it still crashes for me when trying to change to the ASIO driver on Win 10. Support did send me an email to acknowledge the problem, but they seem to have gone silent again...
Jumped on this discounted update price though.
(The Mini-Korg was my first synth back in the '70s, so it's nice to revisit it in this poly version.)
Another vote for the Legacy Cell upgrade. (Be nice if we could load Monopoly in it as well?
Otherwise, the manager is working better than it ever has.

Yep. Finally a discounted (beyond "coupon") upgrade price for current customers. Korg love us after all
$49 from Special V2, $99 (still $149
)from Special V1, and (I think) $149 from the original Legacy Collection Bundle (without the Arp). For those inclined (at least who own V2 or upgrade from M1 LE) I don't think you'll see a better upgrade offer from Korg..

I paid $149 back in July last year when v3 released having waited for a reasonable upgrade price the entirety of v2 being out to to upgrade from Special V1 - the v1 with Odyssey. Arturia do this too, it’s usually a long waiting game to get a decent discount. Leaves a bit of a sour taste in a customer’s mouth.
Props to UVI then as whenever there’s an upgrade offered to the newest version of one of their big bundles like Vintage Vault 4 it can be as low as €49. They also offer big sales on products from time to time, but don’t recall them beating an intro deal price on anything unless it has been out for years.
I like the products from all three companies, but only one company regularly makes me feel I’m getting a good deal when I buy from them.

Any one else have this issue? I’m in protools and own triton and wave state and anytime I press the transport to restart or record it resets whatever sound I’m using to the default open sound of the plug-in .... makes it almost unusable

Is there any point uninstalling the Triton if you have the Triton Extreme too? Isn't it just the same thing but with more cards and a valve emulation?

SOS mag reviewed the KORG Collection 3 in the Feb '22 issue.aMUSEd wrote: Sun Apr 24, 2022 4:16 pm Is there any point uninstalling the Triton if you have the Triton Extreme too? Isn't it just the same thing but with more cards and a valve emulation?
The author said: "Moving on to the Extreme soft synth, I was pleased to find that this sounds
slightly different from the Classic; there were small differences (as there should be) with its DAC emulator set to Classic mode. So which is the better version? In my opinion neither is — they're just a little bit different."
The main difference that I observed is how the included banks are organized. The Triton Classic shows 4 Factory banks A, B, C, D, plus 9 EXB-PCM expansions with their included category names and original artwork for each, where in the Extreme the sounds are all packaged together as multiple factory banks; A, B, C, D, H, I, J, K, L, M, N.
So it seems that you get more sounds in the Extreme, but if you are looking for a sound from an original Triton EXB-PCM, you may prefer the Classic for that reason.

Perhaps you have PT sending a MIDI program change to the synth on play start..?D Midas wrote: Sun Apr 24, 2022 4:14 pm Any one else have this issue? Hmmmm.... well I certainly haven’t set anything up.... I’m starting a new session, instrument track... load either korg instrument and without fail it resets every time.... are you using these instruments on protools?
