What are some of the best multifx bundles regardless of price? Covers all effects. Goes beyond basics.
What is the best basic multifx that covers all effects, but they can be just basic?

Guitar Rig is more advanced than that in many ways.j wazza wrote: Tue Apr 26, 2022 9:03 pm uhbik, if you want something that covers all advanced fx well i cant think of anything that does that
Still I’m not sure I’d still want to install this on my new machine when/if it finally got ported to native Apple Silicon, as I’m no fan of their installer, while I’m probably getting Uhbik when it’s running natively
The GAS is always greener on the other side!

Way better internal modulation possibilities, parallel routings, a lot if top notch effects that basically are taken from some of their stand alone effects and still count to the very best available even as stand alones, awesome audio rate stuff in some of their newer modules, even more modules…
Don’t get me wrong, Uhbik can be a weapon too, otherwise i wouldn’t consider it over GR on my new machine, but if is simply gauging them for a „technical superior“ product, it has to be GR no doubt, at least in my book. YMMV of course
cons to GR vs Uhbik i can think of ATM:
- it’s loading extremely sluggishly, at least on my old machine
- it’s by NI who react extremely sluggishly to new situations and apparently have no qualms making you wait just a couple of years for needed updates, while u-he support is really good

HOFA System and you can build your own. Uhbik is nice though.
It runs on my machine! Everything else is undefined behavior.

Kilohearts Multipass and snapins are another take on the subject. Not cheap, but high quality and quite easy to use.
