Is there any indication of how long free/plus users will have to wait?

No. I personally think they (i mean we, as i'm also one of these cheapskates
) will get it when it is out of beta.
Wether it will be directly afterwards, or some additional time has tp pass remains to be seen.
But would indeed be a nice feature finally paying for (if it's M1 native which i'm quite sure it's gonna be)

Vital version 1.5.1 standalone is not remembering ASIO audio settings on Windows 10. Defaults back to Windows Audio on re-launch.
Otherwise, looking good in standalone and plugin versions...

Validated for me, but it was a clean install with no previous version. This is likely the Logic Pro bug that has problems when older versions of the plugin are installed and then upgraded. But I'm on an M1 Max, so that could have something to do with it as well.fisherKing wrote: Wed Apr 27, 2022 12:58 pm'wait'... like, what, some kind of farm animal??

i've never had an issue like that upgrading any older plugin in logic. the standalone doesn't open here either, but, to be fair, am on the latest monterey beta.teilo wrote: Wed Apr 27, 2022 2:26 pmValidated for me, but it was a clean install with no previous version. I'm still free user and still don't get why pro continue to be almost the same as free - better to upgrade and give us a reason to pay for missing stuff, just an opinion...

i'd say it's the opposite; that free is (very generously) almost the same as pro...VELLTONE MUSIC wrote: Wed Apr 27, 2022 9:04 pm I'm still free user and still don't get why pro continue to be almost the same as free - better to upgrade and give us a reason to pay for missing stuff, just an opinion...

How is "free is almost the same as pro" the opposite of "pro is almost the same as free"? They are equivalent statements.fisherKing wrote: Wed Apr 27, 2022 9:26 pmi'd say it's the opposite; that free is (very generously) almost the same as pro...VELLTONE MUSIC wrote: Wed Apr 27, 2022 9:04 pm I'm still free user and still don't get why pro continue to be almost the same as free - better to upgrade and give us a reason to pay for missing stuff, just an opinion...
As for adding features to pro and withholding them from free to encourage people to upgrade, merely delaying the release of features to free users provides some of that pressure, and may provide some development or social benefits over maintaining differences in the feature sets. Apparently Matt thinks this is good enough (for now or for the long term remains to be seen). Why second guess that?

i stand by what i wrote, i don't see them as 'equivalent statements', at all.FrogsInPants wrote: Wed Apr 27, 2022 9:56 pmHow is "free is almost the same as pro" the opposite of "pro is almost the same as free"?
