Currently there are many "music theory plugins" out there like Scalar, Captain Chords, Unison Audio, etc. I would like to know what have you choose (if you use one) and why?

scaler with a pattern arp like nora cm, phrasebox or ana 2 is dope

if you decide to go with scaler 2 additional plugin like reMIDI 2 could nicely extend functionality

i don't have disposable cash so i only know of one.
it's free and it's not a plugin but i say...
laras compostion.

it's a developer challenge entry. i voted it first place.
it's one of a kind?
but i'm not using it yet. i will though. busy with other stuff.

reMIDI 2 is different plugin that works well with Scaler and allow you to
use your MIDI Controller to create arpeggiator and custom MIDI note bindings
its currently on sale btw at pluginboutique for $20

A really good VST is Chord Space!

Chord Space is very clear and presents possible chords in hexagrams. You can learn
a lot and it looks good!

Chordspace taught me a lot as an early teen, starting from zero theory knowledge. Even the webpage is a good 101 of jazz harmonic theory.
