It really does sound good.
Especially for the money, if I was on a budget and in the market for one, I wouldn't think twice.

Has anyone compared it to the MiniMoog emulations by Arturia, Synapse, and NI?

To my ears the Softube is the best old-oscillator card emulation. As for the new-oscillator card, I am unsure. I demoed the Minimode and it's not too bad. I'd have to relaly go through the different emualtions. I dont even knowif Softube used the old- or new- osc card but it sounds like the old card to my ears. I have a minimoog and both cards... so... YMMV

I'm doing some comparisons right now with The Legend (Synapse) and Model 72 (Softube), which I think are the ones to beat.

Minimode sounds pretty decent so far. I need to spend some more time with it and try a bunch of different kinds of patches.

I also have:
  • Monark (NI). It's pretty good too.
  • Arturia Mini V3. Not very good.
  • Minimonsta (GForce). Doesn't work on macOS Big Sur.
  • The official Moog "Model D" app (iOS). Moog hasn't made it available on macOS yet.

Pretty sure you're right. When I tried matching several patches between The Legend and Model 72, I had to set The Legend's Model Revision setting to "Early".

Not yet but will certainly be testing it against the MiniV.

How good is their Juno emulation (for those who have played the hardware)?

It's pretty good but Mercury-4 is by far my favourite.
