Some people said that sliders instead of knobs can be better for controlling parameters by mouse or touch screen (iPad version) and envelopes can be as graphical displays with touch points, but that can be pretty radical change, so code also must be changed, my work was stricly visual improvement.
FapFilter: i did UI in HD (on iMac 27" with retina at almost full screen) so this can be enough for now, resize of windows maybe require vectorised graphics resizable to any ratio, this is fixed bitmap window.

I thought you “only“ did a new color scheme!

If you are able to update the gui, please keep in mind that many of us use high resolution screens and need the ability to scale up.martin_demsky wrote: Sat Feb 26, 2022 3:46 pm Anyone know if Dexed author Pascal Gauthier (Digital Suburban) is going here sometimes? I want to send him that my new UI redesign, but i can't find his e-mail in the app or on the web.

Dear all, I searched through the forums and the FAQ but didn't find a specific answer or could not interpret other posts good enough as a Dexed/DX7 novice (sorry
).
I got the original factory patches (ROM1A, ...). To play them with the orginal velocity setting of the device they were made for on my keyboard that transmits 1-127 velocties do I need a midi velocity scaler to 1-100 or not? In another post I read that the DX7m1 used 1-100 and the DX7m2 1-127 (as Dexed), but what does that mean in conclusion? Are there two sets of factory patches, one for each mark? I use the patches from the dx7patch archive.
Thanks for any enlightenment!
PS: If there is post that explains that, please just point me to that and sorry to bother.

Expect an update in the next few months( I could be mistaken but i think there is work being done on the UI).

I hope that at some point, the dev also fixes the algos as well as operator gain structure and adds portamento, the last note priority mode as well as the internal synth engine mute mode (for purely librarian purposes) apart from just updating the GUI.pathworker wrote: Tue May 03, 2022 8:39 pm Expect an update in the next few months( I could be mistaken but i think there is work being done on the UI).
The synth is so close to being perfect, it would be nice to see it finally achieve full maturity after all these days.

So Dexed is listed in the CLAP plugin database, but I don't see version newer than 0.9.6.
Anyone know what's going on with this?
Is Dexed going to support polyphonic host modulation?

I was looking at exactly this and chatting briefly with asb2m10. No promises no timelines but the structure of the code doesn’t make it impossible. It would be very powerful in dexed and bitwig, and a few of the tricks from surge might apply.
