is there going to be a parade?
As the ancient Moogs have comparable architectures, they could recreate all Moog models up the year 1987.
So far we have beside the Minimode, the Polymode, the Memorymode, the Rackmode, the Surrealistic MG-1, the VM 900 collection of modules.
Missing is the Micromoog, the Taurus, the Prodigy…
Lyra and Apollo are less known…
And the Vocoder is also not there yet…
There is a vocoder in Rackmode.

For me, it’s correcting people who pronounce it wrong.

Can't understand the rehashing of Synths already perfected by other developers, not once but at least 3 times already. It just doesn't make sense.

Seeing the popularity, even though on a saturated nische product, Cherry Audio want a piece of that cake. And they are also much cheaper than the competitors, at least the intro price.

So why not, I bought it... even though owning all (I think) sw clones available, except the GForce one.

It really does sound good.
Especially for the money, if I was on a budget and in the market for one, I wouldn't think twice.
It does sound good. I don't need another Minimoog emu, but Cherry's other Moog clones are on sale this month, so I'm probably going to finally pick up the VM900 collection; it's just a few bucks more than the Minimode right now. I'm also curious to see what other new products they're releasing this month.

Exactly that

This is correct.

LFO8 wrote: Tue May 03, 2022 9:33 am How good is their Juno emulation (for those who have played the hardware)?
Not great. Roland, Softube (Model 84), Arturia (Jun-6 V), and TAL's (U-NO-LX) emulations are all much better. I like some of Cherry's other plugins, but DCO-106 is one of the weaker ones. I've tried to replicate some of my favorite 106 patches on it and it just isn't up to the task.

I'm British - we're allowed to pronounce it wrong. Pronouncing it wrong is alright, here... ;)

(Especially as Bob said he didn't mind...)
