I have been writing a few songs with lyrics, and had promised myself I was going to record and release at least one by the end of the year.

But if this is the reception RW gets - a singer whose voice I'd give a testicle to have - maybe I'll stick to ambient

I'm curious, regarding the people who think RW can't sing or has a bad voice - who do you hold up as an example of someone with a good voice? No cheating now - it has to be someone doing similar material to RW. So no Pavarotti!

his voice is just really bland, like when he does the big epic fist in the air bits in his tunes, its just so empty, but then people from your part of the world don't seem to care about that too much so i can imagine where you might be coming from talking about the pop that comes from your country and that part of europe in general. he really tries, i can see that but it just doesn't float, sorry. effort only gets you so far (see beverly knight)

his tunes are good, but not in the musically respectable sense, they're good in the commercial pop sense because they're catchy, easy to sing along with and to the general-non-caring-about-music-public (GNCAMP) actually seem credible because they contain the right ingredients that stimulate them in the way that good music should.

this does not count as good music, this counts as good mathematics, on his writers and producers parts. does this make sense to you?
