Hi

I'm about to buy an Alesis VI25 or an M-Audio Oxygen PRO 25 but I can't find any in-depth information on the internet about the Ableton Live integration of these two controllers. So I have some questions for those of you who might have some experience with these two keyboards in Live:

Alesis VI25
- are the 8 rotary knobs assigned by default to control the volume for the first 8 tracks in Live?
- are those 3 rows of buttons underneath the rotary knobs assigned by default to Mute/Solo/Arm for the first 8 tracks? (for example first row assigned to Mute, the second to Solo and the third to Arm)
- are the 16 pads assigned by default to launch clips or scenes? I guess this is most probably not the case.

M-Audio Oxygen PRO 25
- is there a mode on this keyboard that change the function of the 16 pads and assigns them to Solo/Arm for the first 8 tracks instead of launching clips? (for example the first row assigned to Solo and the second row assigned to Arm)

Cheers!

The Alesis doesn't default any of those controls. You could midi map them yourself and save a default project. I think the only thing that defaults is the transport controls.
If you want tighter Live integration maybe look into something like the novation launchkeys.
