People seem afraid of posting about Plugin Alliance releases so I'll leave this one here, in case someone missed it, because it's great and every PA plugin's price is now $30.99 with the Forever $29 offer. Even the new ones. Review by Michael White ("It's F**king awesome"):

Only if you pay 30 bucks per month. Which is 360 bucks per year just to be able to buy some plugins cheaper when they are released, in stead of paying 30 or 40 bucks in a few months when they go on sale.

You can cancel anytime, so OP is right.

PA's intro offers now seem like fishing for idiots when one could get every new plugin for 30.99...

Too many knobs for me.
Sometimes even the one knob makes problems!

I don't get this pa subscription.
there are other addictions more funnier.

You have to be a jedi to have this plugin and touch only one knob cos that's all that the song demands. I am not even a padawan.

It would be better if only one set of controls were shown when linked. I like the sound of it. Bought the sub, bought it, cancelled the sub. Given you can do this whenever you want it makes everything $31 in a convoluted way.

Only if you want one plugin per month. If you only want one plugin, you only need to sub for a month. Or whenever you want to buy one. If you want to buy three plugins, you can buy three Forever29 subs, get your three plugins, and cancel them all. It's fairly flexible, though a little convolution.

Due to recent changes (corporate and promotional), it's possible that the days of the super cheap PA plugins are numbered, making the Forever29 option a good bet for now at least - especially for the new releases coming over this year.

I really like the Lisa GUI BTW. It's a complex device, but like everything, once you know the controls and how the device works, there's a lot of repeated controls and it's nowhere near as overwhelming as it might look at first glance...

I don't know the hardware for this at all and I've never even heard of it before, but I downloaded it a few days ago to test and I'll be getting this, even though I have many EQs, because I liked what I heard in the brief time I've tried it and I feel that $31 is an acceptable price for me to pay to add this to my collection. This EQ isn't quite like most of the other mastering EQs that I have.

I still have to figure out exactly how this thing works, but mostly I just twiddle knobs and if I like what I hear, then all is good in the world.

Apparently they only made, like, 5 of them ever... there are some videos of the hardware on YouTube...

The manual is good, and contains quite a lot of hints and tips. Then there are some good overview videos on YT that are well worth checking out, especially the Weiss ones, Mixing With Mike, and the Justin Colletti one, as the functionality of Lisa is not that simple or straightforward...

Oh, I see. I figured that it was some sort of expensive, hi end studio gear, but I didn't know that there were only 5 of them. I guess that explains why almost nobody has ever seen this before or have experience with it.

I'm not much of a manual guy, but I have already bookmarked a few of those youtube videos which you mentioned. Somebody had linked to one or two of them on another forum yesterday and I bookmarked them.

So I will be watching those for sure, so that I can get a better understanding of how to use this thing properly. I don't have much experience with dynamic EQs.
