Hi, I'm looking for some budget compressor/processor that would allow me to inject some analogue goodness in my productions. Is there anything for peasants like me with 500€ in the pocket?

in that budget, look for the old behringer rack tube compressor, the harmoniser and the saturator. may cost more than 500 for all 3, but not much more probably.

Maybe look at some of the older JoeMeek products (ThreeQ, VC3Q)? They're not tube nor harmonizer, but they have a nice vintage vibe and can be found at a decent price on Reverb.com.

These should be pretty cheap 2nd hand. They might even still be making them. Cheap enough to buy several of them and slap over several channels - possibly not what you were after but they'd inject a whole load of analogue goodness. Actually I have been known to use my bass OD on perfectly ordinary channels not to distort them but just to really warm thing up not-so-subtly. They instantly make any bog standard dull & lifeless bassline into a monster, for example. They can even make sine waves sound good. Probably not recommended to put it on your master channel though...
