I currently own Performance Samples Oceania II and 8Dio New Studio Sopranos.

They both sound great, however I'm kind of disappointed in their lack of vowels/variation, so I was hoping to get a recommendation for something else, ideally best for darker orchestral sounds.

I would be really interested in knowing what library was used in

If anyone could identify it or if not, what could get me something similar?

Damn that looks pretty good, any idea what the limitations are on it?
$400 isn't even the most expensive choir, but it looks pretty capable so it makes me think it's lacking in some areas?

Would be great if they had a trial for it...

Hollywood Choirs is full featured instrument. It’s THE library that is used in the industry, particularly for TV and trailer work. That said, the Wordbuilder requires a lot of work to get it sounding how you want. There’s only one size choir, and unlike it’s predecessor, Symphonic Choirs, there is no Boys Choir.

There’s a paid trial in the sense that you can subscribe to their plan for a month and use it with no restrictions.

Oh that's a damn good idea. I was just gonna wait for a sale and pick it up, but I should probably try it out first.
